1. Introduction

Atticus Fin is operated by Onuska Industries LLC ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how to delete it. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service.

2. Information we collect

Phone number (required for our SMS-based service)
Email address (optional, for account recovery)
Financial transaction data via Plaid (read-only access to the bank accounts you authorize)
Configuration data you provide (fixed costs, tax rate, safety floor)
Messages you exchange with Atticus via SMS

3. How we use your information

To generate financial observations and send them to you via SMS
To verify your phone number during signup
To respond to your questions about your finances
To improve the service (in aggregate, never personally identified)
For nothing else. Specifically, we do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing other products.

4. SMS messaging program details

Program name: Atticus Fin

Program description: Personal finance notifications, two-factor authentication codes, and responses to user questions about their own financial activity.

Message frequency: Variable — typically 1–15 messages per week depending on user activity and notification preferences.

Message and data rates may apply (carrier-dependent).

Reply HELP for help or to contact support: ionuska33@gmail.com.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further messages from Atticus Fin.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Plaid disclosure

We use Plaid Inc. to connect to your bank accounts. Plaid's privacy practices are available at plaid.com/legal. When you connect a bank account, you grant Plaid access to your account credentials (which we never see) and grant us access to read-only transaction data from your accounts.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete all personally identifying data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for service improvement purposes.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. Bank credentials are never transmitted to or stored on our servers (they are managed by Plaid). API keys, OAuth tokens, and other secrets are encrypted at rest.

8. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or delete your account at any time. Contact ionuska33@gmail.com.

9. California residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

10. Children

Atticus Fin is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users by text or email at least 30 days before any material changes take effect.
